Terms & Content Disclaimer
Plain-language, not scary — here's the short version of how content on StoreMyChords works.
What StoreMyChords is
StoreMyChords is a personal tool for storing and organizing your own chord charts, lyrics, tabs, setlists, and songbooks — for your own practice, performance, and reference.
Your content is yours, and your responsibility
Everything in your library — every song, chord chart, lyric, tab, note, setlist, or songbook — is typed or pasted in by you. We don't write it, review it, edit it, or vouch for it. That means you're responsible for what you choose to store here, including making sure you're comfortable keeping a personal copy of it (for example, a chord chart you've written out for a song you don't personally own the copyright to — a common, informal practice among musicians, but one where the responsibility for that copy rests with you, not with us).
We're not responsible for what users store
StoreMyChords and its operator are not responsible for content that users add to their own libraries. We don't host anyone's content publicly, we don't publish it, and we don't make any legal judgment about it when it's saved — it's your library, entered by you, for you. If you believe something stored on the site by a user infringes your rights, let us know at [email protected] and we'll look into it.
Content from other sites
Nothing from another website or service is ever automatically added to your library. The only way anything ends up in StoreMyChords is by you creating it yourself — typing it in, pasting it, or otherwise entering it directly. Where a page here links out to another site (for example, to let you preview or look something up), that link simply takes you there — following it doesn't add anything to your account, and whatever you find on that site is governed by its own terms, not ours.
Using the service
StoreMyChords is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep things running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free. If your library matters to you, it's a good habit to export or back up anything important from time to time.
Changes to this page
We may update this page occasionally as the site changes. Continuing to use StoreMyChords after a change means you accept the updated terms.
